Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 4 - Hydro Power

This power station is part of the Upper Derwent hydro scheme. Water is released when needed to generate electricity. Water flows from Butlers Gorge Power Station via tunnels, canals and pipes to Tarraleah. The water then drops 290m through steel pipes to the power station.
